Lybster

We got up as usual and ate with the intention of going paddling.
Well the headwind wasn’t good. We turned round after poking our bow around the headland and paddled back.
After teas and an explore of the information centre Katie and I decided to stay another day.
The guys went on. We shared some cider before we split and watched them paddle off. They were on a schedule and it would be better for them to get on it. Katie and I were also on a schedule but ours could wait. We intended to get to Helmsdale and stop for the night as we wanted to do a full day across the Moray Firth. It would be pointless to not get there.
While walking around Lybster I remembered I had been there before. Perhaps 25 years ago.
