Holland on sea

Having contacted the VTS Harwich the day before we were told to contact them in the morning. A quick check with them in the morning and we had permission to pass. The sheet paddle across the lane was done quickly and the wind started. To give us some problems. We landed on the Naze more mud than sand and them carried on into some wind. This was turning into a bit of a slog as soon as we got past the pier. A tactical decision and we landed at Frinton on Sea. A lady came over and asked us what we were doing, actually she asked if we were doing the whole coast and asked us to go for a tea in her beach hut. How could it be refused.
The tide came quickly in and back on the water. Our intention was to get to Clacton on Sea but with the tide and the wind made a landing at holland on Sea seem preferable.
Landing we were met with tea from some beach hut owners. I went to ask about charging our phones in the local cafe and we were invited in and given a free icecream and tea. Wow East coast winning back some credit, to top that off the lady contacted her sister who owned a beach Hut and we were given the usage of it. Yay. Later that evening I walked to the pub and had some good conversations and hospitality.
Thank you all this day.
